Co-Director of Human Resources
Our Human Resources Co-Directors focus on operating HR, overseeing applications, onboarding, volunteer tracking, conflict resolution, and policy enforcement. As the backbone of the organization, the Co-Director of Human Resources evaluates and conducts interviews with potential applicants to numerous executive positions. You will collaborate with the advisory board, and facilitate conflict resolution.
Job Responsibilities
Review applications for positions on Airtables
Interview shortlisted candidates using standardized questions and reviewing individual resumes
Sending reminders and termination letters to appropriate members
Train directors in their role
Monitor POINT for hours and approve hours accordingly
Ensure members interested in the PVSA create a Google Sheet for eligibility
Onboard members on Slack
Ensure every member (current and incoming) sign the Code of Conduct
Enforce Code of Conduct in BioMedizone
Update Official Member Director in a timely manner
Ensure proper conflict mitigation if the need arises
Requirements
Pursuing high school diploma, Bachelor's degree, or equivalent
Previous human resources or similar experience preferred
Availability of 5-10 hours/week
Attention to detail and strategic decision-making
Proactive and provides quick responses to urgent tasks

Director of Outreach
Our Director of Outreach focuses on expanding BioMedizone's reach by forming media partnerships and recruiting new members on social media. As one of the major drivers of the organization, the Director of Outreach will develop large scale outreach programs and have access to social media platforms. You will receive networking opportunities with our partners, sponsors, and new professional connections.
Job Responsibilities
Create strategies for expanding BioMedizone's community
Partner with schools, nonprofits, and STEM organizations through social media
Develop marketing strategies for social media, newsletters, and website
Use Instagram, TikTok, and LinkedIn to draw in an audience
Create promotional materials and plan out weekly posting schedule
Oversee graphic designers and assign tasks
Requirements
Pursuing high school diploma, Bachelor's degree, or equivalent
Previous graphic design, outreach, and public relations or similar experience preferred
Availability of 5-10 hours/week

Director of Events
Our Director of Events spearhead many of BioMedizone's cornerstone events, such as Innovation Conference and Camp Biomed. As a Director of Events, you will create unique initiatives to recruit new talent and curiosity into BioMedizone. You will receive networking opportunities with many professors, researchers, physicians, clinicians, corporate sponsors, and other BioMedizone partners while organizing events.
Job Responsibilities
Head with event planning, logistics, outreach, and budgeting
Provide creative, unique ideas for events, diversified beyond keynote speakers and general medical events
Moderate all events through virtual meetings
Create content and presentation materials for events
Track the impact of events and suggest improvements for future
Collaborate in proposal and leadership of event initiatives
Contribute ideas for expanding BioMedizone's reach through event campaigns
Hands-on experience in event planning
Opportunity to work with fellow leadership, scientists/keynote speakers in the field of biomedicine
Requirements

Co-Director of Education
Our Co-Director of Education is responsible for managing or overseeing the educational programs, particularly focusing on self-paced courses. This role involves collaborating with empoyees and external partners to ensure the delivery of high-quality content. The Co-Director of Education will also act as a primary contact for students and instructors, providing suport and guidance to enhance the learning experience. This position demands strong leadership, excellent communication skills, and a deep understanding of educational technologies and methodologies.
Job Responsibilities
Develop and manage self-paced courses, ensuring they meet educational standards and learning objectives
Oversee the design, implementation, and evaluation of course content and materials
Monitor student progress and implement strategies to enhance completion rates
Work closely with instructors to ensure they have the necessary resources and support to deliver effective courses
Faciliate regular communication and feedback sessions with instructors to discuss course performance and areas for improvement
