Graphic Designers
Our Graphic Designers create visual content for BioMedizone’s social media, events, programs, recruitment, partnerships, and other organizational needs. They work with the Marketing Team to develop clear, engaging, and professional graphics that follow BioMedizone’s branding and maintain a consistent visual identity across platforms.
Job Rights
Access BioMedizone’s approved branding materials, templates, and design resources
Collaborate with the Marketing Team regarding design requests and content needs
Use approved design platforms and tools to create BioMedizone materials
Receive relevant content, specifications, and deadlines needed to complete assigned design projects
Job Responsibilities
Create graphics for BioMedizone’s social media platforms, events, programs, recruitment, partnerships, and other initiatives
Design visually engaging materials that communicate information clearly and effectively
Follow BioMedizone’s established branding, including colours, fonts, logos, and visual guidelines
Make revisions to designs based on feedback from the Marketing Team or appropriate leadership
Ensure designs are accurate, professional, readable, and appropriately formatted for their intended platform
Meet assigned design deadlines and communicate proactively if clarification is needed
Requirements
Pursuing high school diploma, Bachelor's degree, or equivalent
Comfortable using graphic design tools such as Canva
Strong understanding of basic design principles, such as layout, spacing, and visual consistency
Strong attention to detail and ability to create clean, professional designs
Good time management and reliability with deadlines
Prior graphic design experience is considered an asset but is not required

Director of Events
Our Director of Event Lead the planning, coordination, and execution of BioMedizone’s events, including workshops, conferences, networking events, educational sessions, and other activities. They oversee event timelines, logistics, team delegation, speakers and guests, communications, and cross-departmental coordination to ensure events are well-organized, engaging, accessible, and successfully executed.
Job Rights:
Access and manage BioMedizone’s event planning documents, timelines, calendars, and organizational systems
Lead and delegate tasks to members of the Events Team
Coordinate with speakers, guests, partners, volunteers, and other external participants for BioMedizone events
Assist in developing event concepts, schedules, and logistical plans
Job Responsibilities
Lead the planning and execution of BioMedizone workshops, conferences, networking events, educational sessions, and other initiatives
Develop detailed event plans outlining objectives, timelines, responsibilities, logistics, and required resources
Coordinate event logistics, including scheduling, virtual platforms, registration, materials, technology, accessibility considerations, and other operational requirements
Identify and coordinate speakers, presenters, panelists, guests, moderators, and other participants
Work with the Marketing Team to coordinate event promotion, announcements, registration materials, and other promotional content
Collaborate with the Finance Team regarding event budgets, projected expenses, and financial requirements
Collect feedback from attendees, speakers, and team members following events to identify areas for improvement
Requirements
Pursuing high school diploma, Bachelor's degree, or equivalent
Strong leadership and delegation skills, with the ability to coordinate and motivate an Events Team
Comfortable coordinating projects across multiple departments and keeping team members informed of deadlines and responsibilities
Strong attention to detail, particularly when managing schedules, logistics, event materials, and participant information
Good time management and reliability with deadlines
Prior experience in event planning, student leadership, project coordination, volunteering, or communications is considered an asset but is not required

Our LinkedIn Coordinator Manages BioMedizone’s LinkedIn presence by creating and publishing professional, engaging, and informative content that highlights the organization’s initiatives, achievements, opportunities, and impact. The LinkedIn Coordinator maintains a consistent posting schedule, supports community engagement, and ensures BioMedizone is represented professionally across the platform.
Job Rights:

Schedule and publish approved LinkedIn content
Respond to comments and messages on behalf of BioMedizone
Collaborate with the Marketing, Graphic Design, and Impact Analytics teams
Recommend new content ideas, LinkedIn strategies, and engagement opportunities
Job Responsibilities
Create, schedule, and publish high-quality LinkedIn posts highlighting BioMedizone’s initiatives, achievements, events, and opportunities
Maintain a consistent LinkedIn posting schedule
Write professional and engaging captions that align with BioMedizone’s voice and values
Collaborate with Graphic Designers and Marketing members to produce visually engaging LinkedIn content
Monitor LinkedIn trends, features, and best practices to improve audience engagement and reach

Tiktok Coordinator
Our Tiktok Coordinator is responsible for creating, managing, and growing BioMedizone’s Reels/Tiktok presence through the curation of through creative, informative, and engaging video-content.
Job Rights:
Access to videographer experience and mentorship
Full access to BioMedizone’s TikTok account and creative authority over video content
Ability to collaborate with the Outreach and Public Relations departments for cross-platform promotion
Job Responsibilities
Develop and implement a content strategy for BioMedizone’s TikTok account
Create, edit and post engaging videos to inform Biomedizone’s community about their mission, events, and initiatives
Engage with followers by responding to comments, messages, and broadcast channels.
Stay updated on trending sounds, hashtags, and challenges to incorporate into BioMedizone’s content
Analyze TikTok analytics to track engagement, growth, and performance of content
Ensure all video-based content aligns with BioMedizone’s brand and tone
Requirements
Experience with TikTok & Instagram Reels video-content creation and strategy
Comfortability with showing your face on Tiktok/Reels (Highly Recommended)
If not comfortable, proficiency in video editing to curate content for Biomedizone

Associate Director of Project Biovera
Our Associate Director of Project Biovera supports the development and implementation of Project Biovera, BioMedizone’s initiative focused on expanding access to biomedical, scientific, and research education in underserved and underrepresented communities. The Associate Director will work within Biovera Books, Labs, or Outreach. They will contribute to curriculum development, educational programming, workshops, publications, and community engagement while helping coordinate projects and ensure Biovera initiatives are effectively developed and delivered.
Job Rights:

Collaborate with Biovera Project Leads, mentors, and external partners
Contribute to the development and planning of Biovera books, workshops, curriculum, and educational programs
Job Responsibilities
Support the planning, development, and implementation of Project Biovera initiatives
Help identify educational needs within target communities and adapt programming accordingly
Maintain organized records of curriculum, workshops, publications, project progress, and other relevant materials
Biovera Books:
Assist with researching, developing, writing, and editing Biovera educational and children’s books
Assist with coordinating the publication and distribution of Biovera books to schools, libraries, and community partners
Help gather feedback from students, teachers, and community partners to improve educational materials
Biovera Labs:
Assist with developing educational curriculum and activities that incorporate laboratory and hands-on science resources
Support the identification of schools and educational partners that may benefit from laboratory resources
Biovera Outreach:
Assist with planning and facilitating biomedical science, health, and research literacy workshops
Support the coordination of Biovera mentorship programs with students, mentors, researchers, and STEM professionals
Support partnerships with schools, libraries, community organizations, and educational initiatives
Requirements

Strong interest in developing educational resources and making scientific concepts accessible to younger students

Our researchers in the Research Scholars Program assist in writing and developing research papers. They participate in individualized and focused research experiences, gaining one-on-one mentorship.
Job Responsibilities
Summarize and synthesize scientific evidence from published studies
Collaborate with editors to revise manuscripts based on feedback
Follow research, citation, and formatting guidelines
Meet project deadlines and contribute to ongoing research initiatives
Requirements
Currently in high school or pursuing an undergraduate degree (or equivalent)
No prior research experience is required
Strong willingness to learn research writing and scientific methodology
Reliable, responsive, and committed to meeting deadlines
Open to receiving feedback and collaborating with editors
