Co-Director of Marketing
Our Co-Director of Marketing focuses on expanding BioMedizone's reach by forming media partnerships and recruiting new members on social media. As one of the major drivers of the organization, the Co-Director of Marketing will develop large scale outreach programs and have access to social media platforms. You will receive networking opportunities with our partners, sponsors, and new professional connections.
Job Responsibilities
Create strategies for expanding BioMedizone's community
Partner with schools, nonprofits, and STEM organizations through social media
Develop marketing strategies for social media, newsletters, and website
Use Instagram, TikTok, and LinkedIn to draw in an audience
Create promotional materials and plan out weekly posting schedule
Oversee graphic designers and assign tasks
Requirements
Pursuing high school diploma, Bachelor's degree, or equivalent
Previous graphic design, outreach, and public relations or similar experience preferred
Availability of 5-10 hours/week
Attention to detail and strategic decision-making
Proactive and provides quick responses to urgent tasks

Co-Director of Software
Our Co-Director of Software is responsible for overseeing the creation and mangement of all BioMedizone software projects, especially those pertaining to the Junior Lab. The Co-Director of Software will be responsible for assisting in software development and technical troubleshooting.
Job Responsibilities
Lead software development workshops for members
Manage software development team and project timelines
Ensure security, usability, and innovation in sfotware solutions
Code, test, and optimize software applications
Provide technical support for the organization's platforms
Assist in training members in software development
Help students with complex coding issues
Assist software developers with brainstorming solutions and meeting deadlines
Requirements
Pursuing high school diploma, Bachelor's degree, or equivalent
Proficient in multiple coding languages
Good with technology and software development
Great with debugging code

Software Developers
Our Software Developers are responsible for coding, testing, and optimizing software applications as they apply to assigned projects in the Junior Lab.
Job Responsibilities
Provide technical/software background needed to develop project assigned in Junior Lab
Assist in training members in software development if needed
Meeet project deadlines, work closely with research leads to develop products for testing
Ensure security, usability, and innovation in software solutions
Requirements
Pursuing high school diploma, Bachelor's degree, or equivalent
Proficient in multiple coding languages OR strong willingness to learn
Good with technology and software development

Research Editors
Our Research Editors are responsible for editing research papers for publication in our seasonal research journals.
Job Responsibilities
Edit and reformat assigned number of research papers
Meet with researchers to discuss feedback and concerns
Periodically track and manage researcher progress and edits
Provide monthly feedback on developing research papers
Requirements
Pursuing high school diploma, Bachelor's degree, or equivalent
Proficient with MLA/APA formatting
Experience with research papers (literature reviews) and development
Experience with feedback and peer review process
