BioMedizone’s research program runs in four seasonal cycles that repeat every year. The program cycles are split into Summer, Fall, Winter and Spring. Each Cycle lasts three months and focuses on one part of S.T.E.M.
Researchers write one paper per season instead of one every month, and the work load is spread over the course of three months so it’s not all due at once. Each cycle comes with three broad fields to choose from.
A researcher picks one field that they are interested in, and then they are responsible for coming up with their own specific research question to explore within that field for their own paper.
Researchers will work with their editor to curate a manuscript over 3 months. If approved, the manuscript will be published in BioMedizone’s seasonal issue of research journals on our website.

How a Cycle Works
● Month 1 - Pick a field, form a research question, and gather sources
● Month 2 - Write a full first draft and send it in
● Month 3 - Revise based on feedback and submit the final paper
The Basics
● One paper per researcher per cycle , on a self-selected question
● APA format, Times New Roman 12pt, Double Space
● Project your voice, no personal pronouns - *All work will be reviewed for AI and Cheating*
● Topic will be checked in the research channel before writing starts
Fields of Focus by Cycle
These are broad fields, not specific topics. Once you pick one, the actual research question is
yours to come up with - narrow it down to something specific enough that you can actually
research and answer it in a few pages.

A few things to stay away from no matter which field you pick:
• Just writing about careers in the field
• A general history report
• A pros and cons list
• Summarizing one article without adding your own analysis
• Anything so broad you can’t actually cover it in a few pages
