Students will automatically be registered as a presenter for the virtual research summit, and will have the opportunity to present their posters and ideas to professionals and peers. The presentations will be ranked, and the top 3 will be featured on BioMedizone's website with subsequent Patch News press release.
This summit will be held on August 8th, 2026 at 10am EST. More information will be released shortly.
The deadline is May 10th, 2026 11:59pm EST. Shortlisted applicants will be contacted via email by a representative from the HR department to schedule interviews.
What is the acceptance rate for this internship program?
We are accepting 20 students for this internship cohort. Historically, we've seen acceptance rates around 17% due to the high volume of applications. Successful applicants typically illustrate a passion for the field of study, intellectual curiosity, and an "above and beyond" attitude. For this internship in specific, we are interested in seeing your cultural diversity and competence.
Can international students apply?
YES. We encourage international students to apply as we are trying to build diversity within our BioMedizone team. We have no quotas, but we will take socioeconomic status and international status into consideration while applying.
Can I get an extension for the application?
No. Unfortunately, there are too many applicants to give extensions. If your application is not received by the deadline, it will not be reviewed.
Is there a waitlist?
Yes. For the AI/ML Research Internship, there will be a waitlist. If accepted students fail to accept the offer by the deadline, some students in the waitlist will be offered a spot in the program. There are no appeal processes for this program; once your decision is made, we will not reevaluate.
